Oliver Design Associates is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our team of designers. Our projects focus primarily on residential landscapes throughout Fairfield Country, varying from small garden enhancements to full property development. We are well known for providing sophisticated design and exceptional workmanship while also offering our clients interesting and unique plant selections. We bring our designs to fruition by managing our own dedicated teams who will install and manage each project with great care. Responsibilities include all phases of the design process, from initial customer meetings through project oversight. Potential candidates should have a passion for plant material and be excited to work collaboratively to generate creative, original site solutions.

 

Education Requirements:

  • BLA or MLA preferred

 

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work on several projects concurrently

  • Proficient in AutoCAD

  • Strong hand rendering skills

  • Experience in managing and/or contributing to projects from initial site consultation through implementation

  • Strong knowledge of horticulture

  • 3 to 5 years experience in the field preferred

  • Licensure a plus but not a requirement

  • Enjoys working with a small team
