As advocates for the profession in Connecticut, CTASLA helps communicate the importance of landscape architecture to lawmakers, allied disciplines, elected officials, and the general public.

 

Outreach efforts include an annual Advocacy Day with ASLA in Washington D.C., Statehouse Day in Hartford, and site visits across the state. Other activities include the Olmsted Legacy Trail, Connecticut Olmsted Award, and collaborations with the students at the University of Connecticut.
